Mandy’s Dog Training offers you professional pet training. Our aim is to support you in having a well-balanced and good natured pet. Our training program creates results that last. Training is essential when you own a dog. It provides a physical workout and mental stimulation, builds confidence and builds an amazing bond between you and your dog. And most importantly, with in-home training YOU learn all the commands and how to train your dog. This is how we continue the good behaviors at home 😊.
About me! I am a CPDT (certified and insured professional dog trainer), CPR certified, member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) and also a member of the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce. (We were also recently featured on the cover of the Park Ridge Neighbors magazine!). I attended National K9 University in Columbus Ohio which is one of the top schools in the country. I love dogs and have had dogs all my life. Training dogs is my passion and I am so grateful to do what I love! My dream is to one day open a shelter and train all the pups to set them up for success in a loving home ♥️Please contact us with any questions or to schedule a training!
Personalized Training
Whether your pet has troubles in the house, at the park, or socializing with other animals, our private training covers the A to Z that comes with pet ownership. Things we train on: Potty training, stopping unwanted behaviors, heeling (walking on a leash), door manners, stay, come, fear, anxiety, socialization, biting, running away and more!
Private training is $150 per session in your home. Each session is one hour. (Please be advised that although we’d love to help everyone near and far, we may have to add a travel charge depending on the distance. You will be notified beforehand if that is the case. Thank you!)

A Little Goes a Long way
Schedule a training session with us to strengthen your skills and your pup’s confidence. You will see the change in your pet from the get-go. Simply put, our training works! Whether your pup has troubles in the house, at the park or socializing with other dogs, our training covers the A to Z .
Group training
Training with care and socialization. We learn how to behave with other pups and listen to commands while distracted 😊. Our classes are currently on Tues evenings at 7pm Feb 20th - March 13th at Magic Scissors Grooming Salon in Park Ridge. Contact us to sign up!
Group training is on Tues evenings at 5:45-645pm and another from 7-8pm. March 26 - April 16th. Contact us to sign up! (We usually run monthly groups)

Our training
We teach multiple commands from sit, stay and how to walk on a leash all the way to off leash. We also teach potty training and how to stop any unwanted behaviors.
At Mandy’s Dog Training, we are certified and fully insured. We offer obedience training for dogs of all ages. Obedience training is one of the most effective training methods around. Providing a range of both private and group classes to fit your specific needs, we are equipped to help you achieve your goals. From impulse control and obedience to complex commands and puppy training. We teach potty training, leash and door manners, heel, sit, down, stay, come, place and we stop any unwanted behaviors such as jumping, counter surfing, biting, barking, reactivity etc
